To All Members & Retirees of the Fall River Contributory Retirement System

Please see the below notice of the upcoming Retirement Board Election by clicking the link below. Said term will commence on January 1, 2015. Nominations must be filed on or before 9:00 A.M. on Friday, November 14, 2014. Please see the attached notification for further information.

TO ALL MEMBERS & RETIREES OF THE FALL RIVER CONTRIBUTORY RETIREMENT SYSTEM
An election is to be held for the purpose of electing a Member of the Fall River Contributory Retirement System to serve on the Fall River Contributory Retirement Board for a term of three (3) years.  Said term will commence on January 1, 2015.
The election shall be conducted entirely by mail.  If more than one candidate has been nominated, an election ballot, ballot envelope & return envelope will be prepared and mailed to each member/retiree of the system on or about December 8, 2014.  
Ballots must be returned by mail and received on or before December 29, 2014.  Tabulation of ballots will take place at the Fall River Retirement Board office on December 30, 2014 at 9:00 A.M.
All members in service and retirees in the Fall River Contributory Retirement System may qualify as a candidate by filing with the Fall River Retirement Board Office a nomination paper containing the signatures and addresses of at least twenty (20) members/retirees of the System.  The nomination papers must be filed on or before 9:00 A.M. on Friday, November 14, 2014.
Nomination papers are to be obtained at the Fall River Retirement Board office located at 30 Third Street-Suite 301, Fall River, MA 02720 during regular business hours.
